The Mummy with its silent guardians.

On Friday afternoon P 4M found a mummy under Duns PS. Dean was the first one in. All the gold was preserved - nobody had touched anything for thousands of years. Mrs Murphy took photographs of the mummy and gold.

A NEW MUMMY UNDER DUNS PS

In our Ancient Egyptian project we discovered a mummy under Duns school. It was old, dark and dusty. We wore coats and carried torches. It was exciting. It was good fun. It was a Friday. I was in the door first.

One normal Friday afternoon Mrs Murphy was reading a story when we got a phone call from Mr Dodds. He said we have had an amazing discovery. Mrs Murphy said, "Oh we have to see this!" So we went to the place where Mr Dodds had told us to go. We crept in the doorway. Suddenly we all gasped. We had found the tomb of Pharaoh Murpheses.

Pharaoh Found Under School

P 4M found Pharaoh Murpheses under the school. They found Pharaoh and two stone pillars in the cellar. It was dark and musky in the tomb. They all brought a torch with them. The pharaoh was lying on a sort of bed with his hands on his tummy. They were all stunned at the sight of the pharaoh.
